This seminar workshop is for selected mathematics teachers or mathematics educators to train them in the use and integration of Mathematical Investigation in teaching mathematics concepts, theories and principles. The training hopes to develop awareness among teachers of the power of Mathematical Investigation as a tool for teaching that will translate into improved achievement and interest of students in mathematics.

Mathematical Investigation (MI) provides opportunities for students to learn mathematics through exploring, investigating and discovering. This approach empowers students to use their ability to explore mathematical concepts, which will enable them to develop their mathematical thinking skills, concepts and understanding.
