The Obstetrics and Gynecology aims to:

• To train comprehensively in a period of 4 years physicians in the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology;
• To render level II service in obstetric and gynecologic care which includes:
  • care for complicated pregnancies,
  • diagnose and manage gynecologic disorders,
  • render pre- and post-operative care,
  • anesthetic care and pain control in OB-Gyne patients,
  • perform minor surgical procedures, perform complicated vaginal procedure when indicated,
  • and assist surgery for more complicated surgery.
