I. VISION

II. MISSION

• Dedicated to sustain an excellent and quality health care system for all patients.
• Produce relevant and specialty-centered researches.
• Boost the residency training program by generating globally competent Anesthesiologists.

III. OBJECTIVES

The Residency Training Program is a 3-year program which provides the Residents with a general professional training in Anesthesiology. A residen Anesthesiologist who must:

1. Have basic knowledge of the related Basic Sciences (Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Chemistry, Physics, Cardiology, Respiratory Care and Clinical Anesthesiology) required of Anesthesiology specialist.
2. Be a specialist not only in Clinical Anesthesiology but also in the Management of Pain, Critical Care & Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation.
3. Have a working knowledge and skill in all phases of anesthetic care in patients.
4. Develop adequate administrative abilities, teaching expertise, leadership qualities, and shall install responsibility, discipline, and humility to his patients, peers, and superiors.
5. Satisfy the requirements set by the Philippine Board of Anesthesiology – in written, oral and practical examinations leading to Diplomate.
6. Develop critical minds based on specific and clinical information available.
7. Actively participate in all aspects of anesthesia training including research.
